INSTALLATION CEREMONY OF INTERACT CLUB 

 

The Installation Ceremony of the Interact Club of DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram was held on 12 November 2025 with great zeal. The event marked a significant milestone in fostering leadership, service, and social responsibility among students under the guidance of the Rotary Club of Gurugram Premier.

 

 The Lighting of the Lamp  invoked divine blessings for wisdom and guidance. Collaring of the newly elected President, Ragini Sharma, was done by the esteemed Principal.The Rotary Four-Way Test, a moral compass for all Interactors, was recited by all Interactors, reinforcing the values of truth, fairness, goodwill, and benefit to all.

A heartfelt felicitation was extended to the distinguished Rotarian guests, including Rotarian Jeevit Vashishtha (President, Rotary Club of Gurugram Premier), Rotarian Sanjeev Budhiraja (Vice President and Co-chair, Interact Club), Rotarian Neha A. Bansal (Secretary), Rotarian Abhinav Bansal (Chair, Interact), Rakesh Kumar ( District Interact Chair), Amit Kumar ( Past President RCGC), Mrs. Pragati Vashishtha ( Director, Club Services), and Mrs. Veen Arora. They were warmly welcomed with green plants and tokens of gratitude by Principal Ma’am.

A melodious group song celebrating patriotic fervour added charm to the occasion. This was followed by the presentation of the Interact Charter by Rotarian Jeevit Vashishtha, formally recognizing the school’s Interact Club under Rotary International.

The newly appointed President, Ragini Sharma, introduced the Board Members for the current session, who were then pinned with badges by the dignitaries and  oath of Office was administered.

Principal Ms. Charu Maini, in her inspiring address, emphasized the importance of compassion and community service in building character. 

Rotarian Jeevit Vashishtha, through his address, urged all to embrace the spirit of  contributing meaningfully to society. 

The event  also featured insightful and motivating addresses by Rotarian Neha A. Bansal, Rotarian Abhinav Bansal, and Rotarian Sanjeev Budhiraja, who shared their experiences and encouraged students to become catalysts of positive change.

The ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks delivered by Ms. Pranshu Sharma, Teacher In-Charge of the Interact Club. The Installation Ceremony truly embodied the Interact motto “Service Above Self”.
