DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram organised an enthralling Inter-House Dance and Song Competition for Grades XI and XII, bringing forth a vibrant display of cultural expression and artistic refinement. The event opened with the Dance Competition, based on the theme Folk or Bollywood Classical. Each house presented captivating performances enriched with graceful movements, energetic formations and culturally rooted choreographies, setting an engaging tone for the morning. Following the dynamic dance rounds, the stage resonated with melody during the Singing Competition, themed Bollywood Classical Songs. Students rendered timeless pieces with commendable vocal clarity, emotion and stage confidence, leaving the audience immersed in the beauty of classical Bollywood music. The Principal, Ms. Charu Maini, applauded the dedication, preparation and artistic excellence demonstrated by all participants, appreciating the way they celebrated the school’s strong cultural tradition. The competition concluded with much excitement as the results were announced. The Dance Competition was won by Sanviti XI F from Jagriti House, whose performance stood out for its precision, presentation and cultural authenticity. In the Singing Competition, Anusha XI A from Jagriti House emerged as the winner, impressing the judges with exceptional vocal quality, expression and command over the classical Bollywood genre. The announcement of winners was met with loud cheers, celebrating the hard work and remarkable talent of the students.
