INTER HOUSE COMPETITION (III-V)

DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram, organised an exciting Inter-House Tribal Jewellery Making Competition for students of Classes III to V on 13.11.2025. The competition aimed to nurture creativity, cultural awareness, and hands-on learning among young learners. With vibrant colours, natural motifs, and bold patterns, each house showcased an impressive understanding of global artistic traditions.

A key highlight of the competition was the incorporation of 2D and 3D geometrical shapes in the jewellery designs. Students crafted eye-catching necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and headpieces using forms such as circles, triangles, beads, spheres, cones, and cylinders. This not only enhanced their aesthetic expression but also strengthened their understanding of mathematical concepts in a creative, enjoyable manner. The beautifully crafted jewellery pieces reflected the imagination and meticulous effort of the young designers. The judges were highly impressed by the beauty of the jewellery pieces and presentation skills of the participants. Participants of Neeti house won the First prize, participants of Kirti house won the Second prize, participants of Shakti house won the Third prize and participants of Jagriti house won the Encouragement prize.
