INTER CLASS MATHEMATICS COMPETITION (III-V)

The Inter Class Mathematics Competition for Classes III to V was organised with great enthusiasm at DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram. The event, titled “Fun with Numbers,” aimed to build confidence, enhance logical reasoning, and encourage young learners to appreciate the beauty of Mathematics beyond textbooks. Students were given 15 thoughtfully designed questions, with a 20-minute time limit, ensuring a balance between speed and accuracy.

The questions were based on general mathematical concepts appropriate to each grade level, enabling a fair assessment of understanding. Classrooms buzzed with excitement as students carefully read, analysed, and solved the problems using their reasoning skills. Their eagerness to attempt every question showcased not only academic preparation but also their competitive spirit.

The event successfully highlighted the importance of problem-solving and quick thinking, helping students realise that Mathematics can be both enjoyable and intellectually stimulating. Overall, the competition was a highly enriching experience that motivated students to explore the subject with greater interest and enthusiasm. Advaitya Sehrawat (3A), Pihu Gaurav (4C) and Aanvi Suhag (5C) won the First prize. Aarvi Suhag (3D), Vansh Agarwal (4F) and Agastya Jain (5A) won the Second prize.Advika Chaudhary (3A), Srihan (4E), Nikhil (4E)and Rohan Yadav (5A) won the Third prize.
