INTRA CLASS MATH TAMBOLA (CLASS V)

“Mathematics is a world of patterns and possibilities, where every problem opens the door to new learning.”

The Intra Class Competition for Class 5 was conducted with great enthusiasm at DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram on 5th December 2025. The event featured an innovative and engaging activity titled Mathambola, designed to make mathematical learning enjoyable and interactive.

Students were given specially designed Math Tambola tickets with random numbers printed on them. Adding a creative twist to the classic Tambola game, the usual number calling was replaced with mathematical clues. Participants had to solve each clue, identify the correct number, and strike it off on their tickets.

The atmosphere was lively as students eagerly cracked the clues, demonstrating sharp mental math, logical reasoning and attentive listening skills. The competition not only encouraged quick thinking but also strengthened their understanding of basic mathematical concepts in an enjoyable way.

The Supervisory Head Ms. Priya Bhandari applauded the enthusiastic participation and appreciated the students’ accuracy and problem-solving abilities. Winners were acknowledged for their outstanding performance and presence of mind.

Overall, Mathambola turned out to be a perfect blend of learning and fun, making the day both enriching and memorable for all the young learners. Atharv Rao, Naira Sikka, Arayna Singh and Pushkar Kumar from class 5A, Ayan Boken and Kanushi Dua from 5B, Vidhi Verma from 5C, Gauransh Yadav from 5D and Kartik Kaushik from 5E won prizes in different categories.
