DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram successfully organized a Career Counselling Session in collaboration with Chitkara University on 16th December 2025. The session aimed at guiding students towards informed career choices while equipping them with essential skills for the future.

The programme began with a warm welcome on behalf of the school, emphasizing the importance of timely guidance in a world full of diverse opportunities. A green welcome was accorded to the esteemed guest speaker, Ms. Hazel Siromoni, acknowledging her presence and contribution to the session.

The highlight of the programme was an engaging and thought-provoking session on Entrepreneurship and Innovation. Students of class XI were divided into groups and were given a mini business idea based on real-life problems. They were encouraged to brainstorm prospective solutions, identify challenges, and suggest innovative approaches. The session was well aligned with the vision of the Principal, Ms. Charu Maini; an initiative to nurture 21st-century skills among students; promoting critical thinking, teamwork, collaboration, and problem-solving. The interactive nature of the session allowed students to actively participate, share ideas, and develop confidence in expressing their viewpoints. The activity also helped students understand the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, such as creativity, adaptability, leadership, and decision-making.

Overall, the event proved to be highly enriching and impactful, fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and preparing students to face future challenges with confidence and clarity.
