A group of students from Class XI, DAV Public School Sector 49 Gurugram, participated in the launch of the first ever GenV Fest- Namo Book Fest, a prestigious literary and cultural event aimed at nurturing young writers and promoting reading among students. The fest was held on 17 January 2026 at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi. The event was organised by the Council for Media Public Policy Research in collaboration with Rashtriya Shikshan Sansthan Sangathan.

The fest hosted the felicitation ceremony for the Article Writing Competition; in which selected student articles were compiled in the book titled “बच्चों के मन की बात, मोदी जी के साथ”, to be presented to the Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji. It was a moment of great pride for the school as the article of Ragini Sharma, Class XI-E, got published in the above-mentioned book. 

 

The event showcased over 350 books by various authors and was graced by renowned personalities from the media, politics and bollywood. It was further enriched by live cultural performances presented by students from different schools.

 

The visit proved to be an inspiring and enriching experience for the students, motivating them to pursue reading, writing, and creative thinking with renewed enthusiasm.
