Republic Day Celebration

DAV Public School, Sector 49 commemorated the 77th Republic Day with great patriotic zeal and dignified splendour under the able leadership of the Principal, Ms. Charu Maini. The celebration was graced by the august presence of Shri Mahesh Goyal, IG (Retd.) IPS, as the Chief Guest, and Col. Surinder Yadav (Retd.) as the Guest of Honour, who added immense value and inspiration to the occasion.The programme unfolded as a harmonious blend of discipline, creativity, and national pride. It commenced with an impressive March Past led by the school band, followed by the six houses and the DAV Nationals sports winners, reflecting discipline, unity, and sporting excellence.A refreshing Green Welcome, symbolising ecological consciousness, set a meaningful tone. Students from various grades showcased their eloquence through impactful speeches, while the Kindergarten Character Parade vividly brought national heroes to life. Soulful poems and the melodious choir presentation Hari Bhari Dharti echoed the values of unity, sustainability, and patriotism. A graceful dance performance further added vibrancy to the occasion.In a special segment, the DAV Nationals sports winners who had brought gold, silver, and bronze medals to the school were felicitated for their outstanding achievements, drawing enthusiastic applause from the audience and instilling pride among students and teachers alike.In her address, the Principal, Ms. Charu Maini, beautifully reinforced the significance of the Constitution, highlighting the values of responsible citizenship, integrity, and service to the nation. Her words motivated students to uphold democratic ideals and contribute meaningfully to society.The Chief Guest, Shri Mahesh Goyal, IG (Retd.)
