An Orientation Programme on “” was organised at DAV Public School, Uppal’s Southend, Gurugram on 15 January 2026 for teachers of Classes III to XII, as a proactive initiative of the school Principal, Ms. Charu Maini, to ensure that all educators remain updated with the latest educational reforms. The programme focused on familiarising teachers with the concept, objectives, and structured execution of Kaushal Bodh, a newly introduced mandatory initiative by CBSE, aimed at nurturing essential life skills, values, and competencies for the holistic development of learners. Aligned with the guiding principles of NEP 2020 and NCF 2023, the training empowered teachers with effective pedagogical strategies, assessment methods, and evaluation tools for the successful classroom implementation of Kaushal Bodh, particularly in Classes VI to VIII. Emphasis was laid on learner-centred practices, experiential learning, and competency-based education. The programme reflected the school's strong commitment to continuous professional development and to fostering a future-ready learning environment.
