DAV Public School – Sector 49, Gurugram, in collaboration with Joy of Learning Foundation, Delhi, successfully conducted a Physics Workshop on Electromagnetism for secondary and senior secondary teachers on 24 February 2026.

The workshop was facilitated by the esteemed resource person, Ms. Anshumala Gupta, who held the audience spellbound with her engaging and innovative experiments. She effectively demonstrated how complex Physics concepts can be simplified through practical experiments using easily available household materials. Challenging topics such as AC and DC Motors, Transformers, Fleming’s left and right hand rules, and Lenz’s Law were presented through simple, hands-on demonstrations, making them more comprehensible and classroom-friendly.

The primary objective of the workshop was to strengthen conceptual understanding and enhance pedagogical approaches for teaching advanced topics in electromagnetism. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from educators from different schools of Gurugram , who actively engaged in discussions, collaborative activities, and experiential learning.

The workshop concluded on a celebratory note with the presentation of certificates to the participants by the School Principal, Ms. Charu Maini, along with Ms. Anshumala Gupta. The teachers were appreciated and applauded for their active involvement and insightful contributions throughout the session.
