In alignment with this vision, the school proudly hosted an Orientation Programme on Saturday, April 4, 2026, for the parents of Nursery, Class I and new parents of Kindergarten to Class 2.The warm response and enthusiastic participation of parents added a special charm to the event.Principal Ms. Charu Maini extended a heartfelt welcome to all.With poise and clarity, she emphasized the pivotal role parents play in a child’s growth, encouraging a strong partnership between school and home.She elaborated on the school’s visionary Panchkosha-based approach and highlighted the importance of discipline, resilience and mindful parenting.She also highlighted the importance of limiting screen time, encouraging productive screen time and fostering meaningful family interactions in shaping a child’s formative years.The session was further conducted by Ms. Timsy Bhatia, Supervisory Head, who sensitively guided parents through this crucial transition phase.She empowered parents with the techniques of Behaviour Modification and Habit Formation.She shared valuable insights into effective parenting, presenting a thoughtful contrast between helicopter parenting and lighthouse parenting, encouraging parents to act as steady guides while fostering independence.With warmth and wisdom, parents were encouraged to “Work with the child rather than for or through the child.”Kindergarten Incharge, Ms. Isha, also shared insights on the important aspect of School Readiness, helping parents better understand their child’s early learning journey. As the session concluded, parents expressed their appreciation and reaffirmed their wholehearted support in nurturing confident, compassionate and self-driven learners.
