INTER HOUSE COMPETITION – CHARACTER PARADE

The Primary Wing of DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram came alive with imagination and colour on 20.04.26 as it hosted an engaging Inter-House Character Parade Competition. The event showcased the creativity, confidence, and expressive abilities of young learners, who stepped into the enchanting world of fairytales.
Participants charmed the audience as they dressed up as their favourite fairytale characters, bringing beloved stories to life with remarkable enthusiasm. From graceful princesses and valiant princes to clever elves and whimsical magical beings, each child embodied their chosen role with conviction. The vibrant costumes, thoughtfully chosen props, and imaginative backdrops added depth and authenticity to their engaging presentations.
Each participant introduced their character and narrated glimpses of their story animatedly. Their expressions, voice modulation, and stage presence reflected careful preparation and a growing sense of self- confidence.
The event was not only a celebration of creativity but also an opportunity for students to enhance their communication skills and overcome stage hesitation. The judges appreciated the originality, effort, and confidence displayed by the participants, making the competition both inspiring and memorable. S.Yashaswini from 3D won the First prize, Anchita Das from 3E and Divik Jain from 3F jointly won the Second prize, Virajveer from 3G won the Third prize and Raayna Sohtra from 3A won the Encouragement prize.
