DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram, successfully conducted Financial Literacy Week on 7th and 8th July 2026 in collaboration with B-FinSmart, with the objective of fostering financial awareness and responsible decision-making among students of Classes III–V.

On 7th July, Class III students explored the world of money through the activity titled 'Money Smart Kids', where they developed an understanding of Indian currency, recognised different denominations, and learnt the basics of money management through engaging hands-on experiences. Class IV students developed the ability to make thoughtful financial choices through the activity titled 'Needs vs Wants', where they learnt to distinguish between essential needs and personal wants, fostering the habits of responsible spending and becoming aware consumers.

The two-day programme provided a meaningful platform for experiential learning, encouraging students to develop financial awareness, critical thinking, and informed decision-making skills. Through these engaging activities, students took a significant step towards becoming financially responsible, aware, and empowered citizens of tomorrow.
