Carrying forward its tradition of fostering academic excellence and intellectual curiosity, DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram, proudly hosted the Semi-Final and Grand Finale of Mind Quest 5.0, its flagship Inter-School Mega Quiz Festival, on 15th July 2026 at the school campus.

The competition, comprising two categories—FLAMES for Classes VI–VIII and General Quiz for Classes IX–XII was conducted in two phases. With an overall participation of around 700 students from 35 schools, the event commenced with the Online Preliminary Round on 14th May 2026, followed by the on-campus Semi-Final and Grand Finale on 15th July 2026. The top-performing teams from the preliminary round advanced to the final stage of the competition.

The competition was conducted by the renowned quiz master Mr. Arindham Bhattacharya, whose engaging presentation and thought-provoking questions made for an exciting contest. The shortlisted teams competed in the Semi-Final Round, with the best teams advancing to the Grand Finale. The participants displayed exceptional knowledge, analytical thinking, presence of mind, and teamwork as they navigated through challenging rounds covering current affairs, science, history, literature, sports, mythology, entertainment, and general awareness.

Principal Ms. Charu Maini congratulated all the finalists for their exemplary performance and appreciated their enthusiasm, confidence, and sportsmanship. She remarked that Mind Quest has evolved into a meaningful platform that nurtures the 3Cs—Critical Thinking, Creativity, and Collaboration, inspiring participants to become confident problem-solvers, effective communicators, and lifelong learners equipped for the challenges of the 21st century. She also expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the principals, teachers, and coordinators of all the participating schools for their continued support and cooperation in making the event a grand success.

First Position: DPS Sector-45, Gurugram

Second Position: DAV Public School, Shreshtha Vihar

Third Position: DAV Public School, Sector-14, Gurugram

GENERAL (Classes IX–XII)

First Position: Tagore International School, Vasant Vihar

Second Position: DPS Mathura Road

Third Position: Amity International School, Sector-46, Gurugram

With another successful edition, Mind Quest 5.0 once again reaffirmed DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram's commitment to fostering academic excellence, intellectual curiosity, and the spirit of healthy competition while empowering young minds with the knowledge, skills, and values needed to become responsible global citizens and future-ready leaders.
