DAV Public School, Uppal's Southend, Sector-49, Gurugram, organised a grand Felicitation Ceremony to honour the outstanding achievers of the CBSE Class X and XII Board Examinations for Session 2025–26 from both DAV Public School, Sector-49 and DAV Public School, Sector-14, Gurugram on 25.07.2026. The ceremony celebrated academic excellence, perseverance and the shared commitment of the two DAV institutions towards nurturing future-ready citizens rooted in strong values.

The ceremony was graced by Respected Shri Prabodh Mahajan Ji, Vice President, DAV College Managing Committee and Chairman, DAV Public Schools, Gurugram, as the Chief Guest. He was accompanied by Hon'ble Shri Yogesh Munjal Ji, Vice President, DAV College Managing Committee and Vice Chairman, DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram; Shri V. P. Bajaj Ji, Chairman, Building Sub-Committee; Shri D. V. Sethi Ji, Honorary Treasurer, DAV College Managing Committee; Dr. D. S. Sharma Ji, Member, Local Managing Committee; Mrs. Adarsh Kohli, Manager, DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram; the Parent Representatives; along with the proud parents and families of the Board achievers from both schools, whose presence added warmth and joy to the celebration.

The programme commenced with the soulful DAV Gaan, followed by the ceremonial Lamp Lighting, symbolising the triumph of knowledge over ignorance. The graceful invocation dance, 'Divyanjali', created a serene and spiritually uplifting atmosphere. The distinguished guests were then accorded a Green Welcome, symbolising the schools' unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability and responsible citizenship.

Welcoming the august gathering, Ms. Charu Maini, Principal, DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram, shared the highlights of the school's remarkable achievements during Session 2025–26. She showcased the school's exceptional CBSE Board results, prestigious university admissions, national recognitions, accomplishments in innovation, sports, co-curricular excellence, sustainability initiatives and holistic education, reaffirming the institution's commitment to nurturing confident, compassionate and future-ready learners. 

Ms. Reena Sharma, Principal, DAV Public School, Sector-14, Gurugram, then addressed the gathering and presented the highlights of Session 2025–26, showcasing her school's notable academic achievements. She congratulated the Board achievers and appreciated the dedication of the teachers and the constant support of parents in shaping the success of every learner.

A proud moment of the ceremony was the release of the school newsletters of both DAV Public School, Sector-49 and DAV Public School, Sector-14 by the esteemed dignitaries. The newsletters reflected the rich tapestry of academic excellence, co-curricular accomplishments, community outreach and memorable milestones achieved by the two institutions during the session.

The highlight of the programme was the felicitation of the meritorious Class XII and Class X Board achievers of both schools. Amidst resounding applause, the students were honoured for their exceptional academic performance, unwavering dedication and perseverance. The proud smiles of parents and the enthusiastic appreciation from teachers made the occasion truly memorable and inspiring.

In his enlightening address, Shri Prabodh Mahajan Ji congratulated the students on their remarkable achievements and commended both schools for their unwavering commitment to academic excellence and value-based education. He emphasised that while scholastic success is important, character building remains the true purpose of education. Highlighting the philosophy of DAV institutions, he remarked that education must nurture responsible citizens by inculcating values such as civic sense, personal hygiene, environmental consciousness, respect for others, tolerance, patience and compassion for the less fortunate. He urged parents to spend quality time with their children and actively participate in their emotional and moral development. Expressing concern over the indiscriminate use of mobile phones and social media among children, he advised parents to introduce technology responsibly and guide children in making wise choices. He further encouraged parents to recognise the unique talents and aspirations of every child instead of imposing career choices, reminding everyone that true success lies in pursuing one's passion with dedication, integrity and purpose.

The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks by Supervisory Head, Ms Pooja Yadav, expressing sincere gratitude to the Chief Guest, distinguished dignitaries, parents, teachers and students for their gracious presence and invaluable support. The celebration concluded with a fellowship lunch, where the dignitaries, parents, students and staff came together to share moments of joy and camaraderie, making the occasion even more memorable.
