B-FinSmart 4.0: Nurturing Financially Aware and Future-Ready Leaders

Financial literacy is no longer optional- it is an essential life skill. With this vision, DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram successfully organised B-FinSmart 4.0, its flagship Inter-School Financial Literacy Fest, from 7, 8 and 10 July 2026 under the banner of Commerce Week, bringing together nearly 150 students of Grades XI and XII from leading schools across Gurugram.

Day 1 & 2 featured immersive workshops on Fundamental Analysis, Technical Analysis, Flash News Impact Analysis, and Careers in Finance, conducted by Dr. Shunil Tripathi, eminent financial mentor and SEBI-certified trainer. Students also demonstrated their analytical and decision-making skills in The Market Traders' Conclave. The event was further enriched by the inspiring presence of CA (Dr.) G. S. Grewal, distinguished academician, celebrated author, and one of India's most respected commerce educators. The competitions were evaluated by Mr. Varun Aggarwal, finance academician, investment expert, author and corporate trainer, and CMA Mr. Roop Singh, Secretary, ICMAI Gurugram Chapter.

Welcoming the participants, Ms. Charu Maini, Principal, emphasised that financial literacy and entrepreneurial thinking are indispensable life skills that empower young minds to make informed decisions and become responsible global citizens.

Day 3 celebrated innovation and entrepreneurship through Pitch and Profit, where students presented innovative start-up ideas, and Rap the Budget, which transformed financial concepts into engaging performances. The competitions were judged by Mr. Varun Aggarwal; Ms. Neena Bishnoi, Finance and Governance professional and elected Committee Member, ICMAI Gurugram Chapter; and the school's accomplished alumni entrepreneurs, Mr. Nipun Narula and Mr. Parth Makker. The event concluded with the cultural presentation Divyanjali, followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony and presentation of the prestigious Pinnacle Award Trophy.

B-FinSmart 4.0 reflected  DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram's commitment to experiential learning by seamlessly integrating financial literacy, entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership, inspiring students to become confident, responsible, and future-ready global citizens.
