INTER-HOUSE DOHA GAYAN COMPETITION(III-V)

"In one drop of water are found all the secrets of all the oceans."

A doha is a two-line lyrical couplet in Hindi literature that transcend time and culture, offering timeless philosophical truths and practical life lessons that resonate deeply with people of all ages, especially students and children. Keeping this in mind, the Primary Wing of DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram, organized a Doha Gayan Inter-House Competition, 'Jeevan ke Rang, Dohe ke Sang', on 27 July 2026 for the students of Classes III to V.

Students from each house enthusiastically participated in the event. The participants recited Neeti Parak dohas with confidence and correct pronunciation. The dohas recited by the participants highlighted moral values and their relevance in everyday life.

The competition provided a wonderful platform for students to strengthen their speaking skills, appreciate the richness of Hindi literature, and imbibe ethical values. The judges applauded the participants for their confidence, clarity, and understanding. The event was both enriching and inspiring, making it a memorable learning experience for all.

Chirayu from Jagriti house and Atharv from Jyoti house won the Third prize,

Namya from Shakti house and Divik from Kirti house won the Encouragement prize.
