INTER-HOUSE SPELL BEE COMPETITION(III-V)

“Spelling is the clothing of words—their outward visible sign.”

A sound command of spelling not only reflects linguistic accuracy but also enhances the clarity and elegance of written expression. With the objective of fostering language proficiency and a love for words, DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram, organised the Interhouse Spell Bee Competition for the students of Classes III to V on 4 August 2026.

The competition witnessed spirited participation from young linguists who displayed exceptional preparedness, confidence, and poise. It also unfolded through a series of rigorous written and oral rounds that assessed the participants’ proficiency in:

* Spelling and Pronunciation

* Vocabulary expansion

* Contextual word usage

The contestants responded with remarkable composure and intellectual agility, making the contest both absorbing and highly competitive.

The winners were meticulously adjudged on the basis of their cumulative performance across both the written and oral rounds.
