Digital Poster Making – An Inter-House Competition (Class V)
“A picture speaks a thousand words.”
The ICT Department organised the Inter-House Competition “Digital Poster Making” for Class V on 27 October 2026, providing students with a platform to communicate meaningful messages through digital creativity. Using OpenOffice Writer, the participants designed posters based on thought-provoking themes: “Incredible India,” “SDG 6: Every Drop Counts,” and “SDG 15: A Greener Earth, A Better Future.”
The young designers creatively portrayed India's rich cultural heritage, the importance of water conservation, and the need to protect our planet's biodiversity. Through thoughtful layouts, vibrant colours, and impactful messages, participants demonstrated their understanding of these themes while showcasing their digital skills and artistic abilities.
With two participants representing each house, the competition encouraged healthy competition, environmental awareness, and responsible citizenship. It also highlighted the role of technology in spreading awareness about important social and environmental issues.
Both competitions reflected the ICT Department's commitment to nurturing creativity, innovation, and digital literacy among students. By combining technology with artistic expression and meaningful themes, these initiatives empowered young learners to think creatively, communicate effectively, and become responsible digital citizens. Participants of Shakti house won the First prize, participants of Preeti house won the Second prize and participants of Neeti house won the Third prize.
