ANNUAL DAY CELEBRATION 2026

“Chanakya – Rashtra Ka Suryodaya”

DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram, celebrated its Annual Day for Classes IX–XII on October 31, 2026, with great grandeur and enthusiasm. Themed “Chanakya – Rashtra Ka Suryodaya,” the celebration was a magnificent confluence of India's rich cultural heritage, timeless wisdom and aspirations for a progressive nation.

The occasion was graced by the Chief Guests, Capt. Indu Boken Ji, District Education Officer, and Sh. Prabodh Mahajan Ji, Vice President, DAVCMC and Chairman, DAV Schools, Gurugram, along with other eminent dignitaries.

The programme commenced with a soulful musical presentation by the school orchestra and singers, followed by a spectacular Shiv Tandav performance that sent waves of excitement through the audience and set an electrifying tone for the evening. The dignitaries were accorded a warm, eco-friendly welcome with saplings. Principal Ms. Charu Maini warmly welcomed the distinguished guests and the gathering through her address, expressing gratitude for their gracious presence and sharing the school's vision, achievements and commitment to nurturing responsible, confident and future-ready learners.

The presentation of the Annual Report offered a glimpse into the school's accomplishments and initiatives across academic, sports and co-curricular domains. This was followed by a grand Prize Distribution Ceremony, honouring students for their outstanding achievements and excellence.

Adding a vibrant dimension to the celebration was the Kaushal Mela, organised by students of Classes VI–IX. The skill exhibition showcased their creativity, entrepreneurial spirit, innovation and practical skills, reflecting the school's emphasis on experiential learning and self-reliance.

The cultural crescendo of the evening was the spectacular theatrical production, “Chanakya – Rashtra Ka Suryodaya,” presented by students of Classes IX–XII. Through powerful performances, compelling dialogues, impressive choreography and magnificent stagecraft, the students brought alive the extraordinary vision and strategic brilliance of Acharya Chanakya. The production beautifully highlighted the timeless values of leadership, diplomacy, discipline, wisdom and nation-building, leaving the audience spellbound.

Capt. Indu Boken Ji applauded the powerful presentation for highlighting the dignity and transformative role of teachers in society. She appreciated Principal Ms.Charu Maini for bringing such a meaningful production to life and lauded the students for their dedication and brilliant performances.

The celebration concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by Supervisory Head Ms Pooja Yadav, expressing gratitude to the distinguished guests, school management, parents, teachers, students and everyone who contributed to the grand success of the event. The Annual Day was a memorable celebration of talent, creativity and achievement.
