INTER HOUSE SCIENCE QUIZ COMPETITION (III-V)

“Science begins with curiosity, grows through questioning, and leads to endless discoveries.”

To ignite curiosity and foster a spirit of scientific inquiry, DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram, organised an engaging Inter-House Science Quiz Competition on 30th October 2026 for students of Classes III to V.

The competition brought together enthusiastic participants from all six houses, who put their knowledge, reasoning skills, and presence of mind to the test across six stimulating rounds. The rounds explored diverse themes, including the animal and plant kingdoms, human anatomy, health and nutrition, everyday scientific phenomena, space exploration, and groundbreaking inventions and discoveries.

The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as the young participants demonstrated impressive scientific awareness, sharp thinking, and remarkable teamwork. Each round unfolded with enthusiasm, making the competition both intellectually stimulating and thoroughly enjoyable.

In a closely contested battle of knowledge, Jyoti House emerged victorious, securing the first position, followed by Preeti House in second place and Jagriti House in third. The participants displayed exemplary sportsmanship and a commendable spirit of healthy competition.

The quiz was a resounding success, inspiring young minds to question the familiar, explore the unknown, and embrace the endless wonders of science. Participants of Jyoti house won the First prize, participants of Preeti house won the Second prize, participants of Jagriti house won the Third prize.
