PARYATAN PARV
Tourism is the only subject which can provide complete knowledge of our great country. It is well said that travelling broadens our knowledge, keeping the same in view; our school has collaborated with Government of India to commemorate Tourism Day. Students of the school were all engrossed in the celebrations. Special assemblies were conducted by the students. Students of classes 1st & 2nd came dressed with great enthusiasm in different costumes depicting the tradition and culture of different countries. The inquisitive scholars of primary wing had a field trip to Temple, Post Office and Gurudwara. This was followed by a painting competition ‘Dekho Apna Desh’ for the students of class V. The students were exhilarated on the trip to Jim Corbett National Park , Amritsar, Wagah Border and Puspha Gujral Science City for experiential learning including social outreach programme and excursions. They also shared their views on the scope of tourism in India.
