COLLABORATION WITH BLUE PLANET 

EVENT 1 : *COLLECTIVE RESPONSIBILITY DRIVE- RECYCLING WORKSHOP*

We at DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram believe that a child who is socially and environmentally responsible is a responsible citizen and a custodian of the planet. Moving ahead with our vision of preserving environment, a teachers workshop was conducted by Blue Planet Environmental Solutions on the theme "Collective Responsibility Drive- Recycling".

 Blue Planet Environmental Solutions, is a Singapore based company that has fully integrated a waste management enterprise.

Mr Krishan Kumar Gaur

Vice President, Blue planet apprised the teachers with their initiative of up-cycling, recycling and re-purposing end-of-life resources using environment friendly technologies thereby contributing to the economy.

The school aims to take up the drive in full swing by engaging the students for collective waste segregation and up-cycling.

Ms. Charu Maini the school Principal thanked Mr Krishan Kumar Gaur and motivated every one to contribute for the great cause whole heartedly.

                                                             EVENT 2 : *MOVING TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE FUTURE* 

"Be a part of the solution and not a part of pollution"

Sustainable waste management is the need of the hour, which involves managing waste in an environmentally sound, socially satisfactory and economical manner. 

We are proud to share that the Green Brigade of DAV Public School, Uppal’s Southend, Sector-49, Gurugram is working  in collaboration with Blue Planet Environmental Solution Indian Pvt. Ltd to reduce the waste and maximize re-use and recycling. We started a plastic waste collection drive on 4 July 2022. Since then the team has been collecting the plastic waste on a regular basis. We are proud to share that on 24 August 2022,  our students sent the waste collected in two months which will be recycled at the collection center.  School Principal, Ms. Charu Maini appreciated the efforts of the students and motivated them to work tirelessly in this direction and help in maintaining a sustainable environment for the future generation.
