On 12th October 2023, a group of 34 students from DAV Public School, Uppal Southend, Sec 49, Gurugram went to the National Science Centre at Pragati Maidan. The purpose of their visit was to attend the National Science Seminar on Millets. During the event, they attended the inaugural ceremony alongside prominent figures from the Ministry of Agriculture and Dr. Khadir Vali, known as the Millet Man of India. The students then listened to informative presentations by participants from different states, discussing the health benefits of incorporating millets into diets. Our students also got a chance to go live on FM Rainbow. They were interviewed by Mr. Rajesh, the popular RJ of FM Rainbow, and shared the experiences of their visit. Following the seminar, they explored the various galleries at NSC, including exhibits on human life evolution, natural phenomena, astronomy, and electromagnetism. Engaging in science-related games and walking through the hall of mirrors added an extra layer of enjoyment and education to their visit. Overall, the trip to the National Science Centre offered a delightful blend of amusement and learning for the students.
