Believing that every writer has numerous of stories to share which have the power to chisel our thought processes, DAV Public School, Uppal’s Southend, Sector-49, Gurugram, hosted a live talk session with renowned motivational speaker and writer- Mr. Ankur Warikoo on 14.01.2023. The event was organised by Crossword.

The event was presided over by the eminent members of DAVCMC- Dr. D. V Sethi, Hony Treasurer and member LMC of the school, Dr. Nisha Peshin- Director Public Schools-II, academics and founder of DAV United, Dr. V Singh, Director, Public Schools and Dr. Shivraman Gaur, Director Higher Education, with the Principal of the school, Ms. Charu Maini. More than 1000 people were in attendance including dignitaries from other schools and teachers, alumni and students of the school.

Ankur Warikoo is an internet entrepreneur and also a bestselling author who has set a benchmark for his multi-hyphenated achievements. In his talk, he put together the key ideas that have fuelled his journey. His talk ranged from embracing and accepting failure to the real truth about learning empathy. He laid emphasis on reaching out and picking thoughts of people from diverse spheres for enriching experiences. It is only when we broaden our horizons, we understand ourselves better as learning is a life-long process. He took up the questions from the audience by the end of the session. Overall, the programme was a huge success.
