DAV Public School, Uppal's Southend, Sector-49, Gurugram organized an engaging workshop titled 'Mastering the Art of Quizzing' for students from Classes VI to XII on 17th April 2023 under the able guidance of the school principal, Ms. Charu Maini. The workshop aimed at helping the students excel in various types of quizzes and was conducted by the distinguished Quizmaster, Mr. Arindam Bhattacharya, Founder Partner of Cradle Solutions, who also served as the Guest of Honour for the event.

 

Mr. Bhattacharya's masterclass was well-received by the students as he shared valuable insights and tips on the nuances of quizzing. The workshop focused on honing the students' skills in different areas such as general knowledge, current affairs, history, and popular culture, which are often covered in various quizzes. He also highlighted the importance of developing a sharp mind, paying attention to details, and staying up-to-date with current affairs, to be successful in the competitive world of quizzing.

 

Following the workshop, a short quiz was conducted for the students, featuring a mix of audio-visual and direct questions, designed to test their knowledge and skills. The students' enthusiasm and participation in the quiz were commendable, and the top-scorers were shortlisted by the school's Quizzing Society. In collaboration with Mr. Bhattacharya, the school is planning to organize a boot camp for the shortlisted candidates, which promises to be an exciting and informative experience for the participants.

 

The event witnessed a great response from the students, who were thrilled to have the opportunity to learn from a renowned Quizmaster and put their quizzing skills to the test. The workshop and quiz were a great success, and the school hopes to organize similar events in the future, to provide its students with more such learning opportunities.
