DAV Public School, Uppal’s Southend, Sector-49, Gurugram goes above and beyond to inspire children and keep them informed about recent events in our surroundings. As we all know, the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft, comprising an orbiter, lander, and rover, successfully launched at 14:35 on Friday (09:05 GMT) from Sriharikota space center. The lander is expected to reach the Moon on 23-24 August. Today, on Saturday, 15 July 2023, the students gathered in the school's multipurpose hall to witness the launch and were captivated by the inspiring glimpse of the spacecraft. The sight of the rocket "ascending into the sky" was described by both students and teachers as "magnificent." The launch was met with enthusiastic cheers and applause, evoking a profound sense of pride in each and every one of us.
