We, at DAV Public School Sector 49, Gurugram take immense pride in sharing the recent accomplishment of one of our students, Arnav Sharma from grade IX. Arnav had the esteemed privilege of presenting his innovative AIoT project, the "PETFIT Collar," to the Honorable Prime Minister, Narendra Modi Ji, during the Pariksha Pe Charcha event held at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi. Prior to addressing Pariksha Pe Charcha, Prime Minister Modi explored an exhibition at Bharat Mandapam, where Arnav's project was showcased. The selection of the project for display at the venue was made by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). CBSE officials, including Joseph Emmanuel (Director Academics), Dr. Biswajit Saha (Director, Training & Skill Education), Sh.Al Hilal Ahmed (Joint Secretary - Academics), Sh. R.P. Singh (Joint Secretary - Skill Education), and Sh.Satish Kumar (Deputy Secretary - Skill Education), commended the students' innovative efforts and provided guidance for their presentation. The PETFIT Collar team, consisting of Arnav Sharma, Arin Chakrabarti, and Naitik Bansal, has also achieved recognition at the ATL Marathon 2023-24. This project has garnered accolades at various National and Regional Level Competitions and Events and has been under the mentorship of Intel AI4Youth. Additionally, the team successfully completed the Student Innovation Program at BMU in collaboration with AIM (Atal Innovation Mission). The journey of these students reflects not only their dedication but also the school's commitment to nurturing innovative minds.
