INTERHOUSE COMPETITIONS (III-V)

Basant Panchami is a festival that symbolizes the end of the days of ignorance and awakening into spiritual enlightenment. It is celebrated with great fervour by everyone especially by students to seek the blessings of the goddess of learning, Maa Saraswati. Saraswati.                                                                                                                                                                                                   

To celebrate the auspicious day of Basant Panchami which also marks the preparation for the arrival of spring, on 13.02.2024 DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram, organised a couple of inter-house group competitions on the theme 'Festivity'. The students of classes III and IV took part in a 'Bandhanwar Making Competition' in which they made beautiful door decorations using only fresh flowers, leaves and petals. The class V students showed their creativity through 'Rangoli Making' activity. They created gorgeous nature scenes depicting the grandeur and unparalleled beauty of spring. These activities really gave the students a great opportunity to express their imagination and creativity. Each presentation was unique, eye catchingly colourful and attractive. Participants of Neeti house won the First prize, participants of Kirti and Shakti house won the Second prize, participants of Jyoti and Preeti house won the Third prize and participants of Jagriti house won the Encouragement prize in Rangoli Making Competition. In Bandhanwar Making Competition Radhika Agarwal (IV D) and Radhika Garg (IV E) from Preeti house won the First prize, Nitya Mishra (IV A) and Bhavika Yadav (IV E) from Kirti house won the Second prize, Tejas Gupta (IV C) and Khanak (IV E) from Jagriti house and Aradhya Aggarwal (IV A) and Aarna Aggarwal (IV E) from Kirti house won the Third prize, Bhuvi (IV C) and Tanishka (III C) from Neeti house won the Encouragement prize.
