The eagerly awaited Annual Sports Day, जज़्बा 2024, unfolded with grandeur on March 1st, amidst an atmosphere charged with enthusiasm and excitement.As the morning sun cast its golden light, the energetic LKG students, adorned in colourful attire, eagerly assembled at the grounds by 7:30 am.The synchronized march during the 'March Past' gracefully highlighted the school's steadfast dedication to sporting prowess. This was exemplified by the ceremonial passing of the torch to the School’s Principal, Ms. Charu Maini, igniting a shared passion for excellence among all involved.The celebration began with the inspiring melody of ‘DAV Gaan’ and the solemn pledge-taking ceremony, where students, teachers, and parents pledged to prioritize fitness.This was followed by the release of vibrant balloons by the school's esteemed Principal and Supervisory Head.In her warm welcome address, the Principal of the school, Ms. Charu Maini praised the students' dedication in preparing for the event, emphasizing the integral role of sports in their holistic development.The audience was captivated by the exciting events of the day, including the thrilling 'Animal Race', ‘Step by Step’, 'Balancing', and 'Build A Pyramid' challenges.A mesmerizing yoga presentation titled 'Rhythmic Yoga', featuring graceful poses performed by DAV's youthful yogis left spectators in awe.The participation of parents alongside their children in various games added to the joyous atmosphere, highlighting the importance of parental involvement in promoting an active lifestyle.The energetic Zumba Dance performance by the students was a crowd-pleaser, with parents enthusiastically joining in the fun.The Sports Day concluded with sincere thanks from Supervisory Head, Ms Timsy Bhatia, accompanied by the stirring strains of the National Anthem, echoing the pride and unity felt by all throughout this memorable event.
