ANNUAL SPORTS DAY

DAV Public School, Uppal's Southend, Sector-49, Gurugram, celebrated its annual sports day, 'जज़्बा 2024,' on 29 February 2024. The highly awaited event was a jubilant occasion pulsating with excitement and vitality. As the clock struck 7:30 am on Thursday, the atmosphere buzzed with excitement as energetic young athletes, dressed in coordinated sports attire, streamed onto the grounds, fully prepared to embrace the spirit of the event.The rhythmic procession of UKGians during the 'March Past' echoed the school's sporting ethos. The torch, symbolizing aspirations, was passed to the school's Principal, Ms. Charu Maini, igniting the drive for excellence among participants.The event commenced with the melodious 'DAV Gaan' and the release of vibrant balloons, officially opening the sports meet.Principal Ms. Charu Maini, in her address, warmly welcomed the parents, emphasizing the significance of sports in a child’s holistic development.A plethora of events, including the 'Monkey Race,' ‘Balloon Bonanza,’ and ‘Hustle Humble,’ kept the audience captivated. A mesmerizing yoga presentation, 'Rhythmic Yoga,' showcased by young DAV yogis, left everyone in awe with poses like the 'Chair Pose' and 'Triangle Pose.'Parents actively participated alongside their children, adding to the spectacle, while the students' vibrant 'Zumba Dance' performances held the audience spellbound.The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Timsy Bhatia, the Supervisory Head, followed by the National Anthem, marking the successful culmination of the Annual Sports day.
