Tiranga Yatra on 14 August 2024
Event Start Date : 14/08/2024 Event End Date 14/08/2024 The 78th Independence Day celebrations at DAV Public School, Uppal's Southend, Sector-49, Gurugram, kicked off a weeklong series of events with a spirited Tiranga Yatra on 14 August 2024. The yatra was inaugurated by Principal Ms. Charu Maini, who led the procession from the school premises. Students from Grade 7 and Grade 1 actively participated, proudly carrying Indian flags and embodying the spirit of patriotism. The event was further distinguished by the presence of Inspector Satyavan (SHO, Sector-50) and Sub Inspector Harish Yadav, along with their team, adding an official touch to the celebrations. The yatra began with a ceremonial start at the school and proceeded through the designated route within the school's grounds and the surrounding vicinity. Students marched in a disciplined manner, holding the flags high while singing patriotic songs that echoed a strong sense of national pride and unity. This vibrant event marked the beginning of a weeklong celebration dedicated to honoring the nation's heritage, with various activities planned to instill a deep sense of patriotism and unity among students and the community.
