On 21st August 2024, DAV Public School, Sector-49, Gurugram, hosted a captivating Science and Mathematics Quiz, led by our esteemed alumni, Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj and Ms. Meenal Warudkar. Ms. Meenal Warudkar, an IIM Calcutta graduate, is now excelling as a consultant at Mastercard. Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering and is currently working in application development at ThoughtWorks.
The event was a grand success, with students from classes XI and XII showcasing their prowess in both subjects.
The event began with an impressive number of participants, who were divided into teams of three. After a rigorous screening process, six exceptional teams advanced to the main quiz, where they competed fiercely through six challenging rounds, including the exhilarating Double Jeopardy round.
The quiz explored diverse topics ranging from Chemistry, Physics, and Biology to intricate mathematical problems. The participants impressed everyone with their quick thinking and deep understanding of the subjects, making the quiz both educational and exciting.
Principal Ms. Charu Maini, who graced the event, commended the students for their enthusiasm and commitment. She praised Mr. Deepak and Ms. Meenal for their exemplary conduct of the quiz and for returning to their alma mater to inspire the younger generation. She emphasized the importance of such events in fostering a love for science and mathematics and encouraged students to continue honing their skills.
The event was not just a competition but a celebration of knowledge, teamwork, and intellectual curiosity.
