On 13th November 2024, the students of classes XI and XII from DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram, experienced a delightful picnic at Ashoka Farm. The day was filled with a variety of activities, fun, and joy. The farm provided the perfect setting for students to unwind, bond, and participate in a host of engaging and adventurous events.

The students had access to a wide range of activities that offered excitement and thrill. Some of the most popular adventure activities included zipline, wall climbing, rope climbing, commando net, cargo net and dancing ladder, which tested balance and agility. Rides such as the Tractor Ride, Horse Ride, and Camel Ride gave students a taste of rural life, while activities like Air Cycling and Water Zorbing offered unique fun experiences. Other activities included Bull Ride, Trampoline, 360 Cycle, Archery, Dart Shooting, and an engaging visit to the Illusion room. Besides this,  there were indoor activities like Carrom, Chess, and Table Tennis. Traditional art activities such as Pottery allowed students to get creative with enjoyment.

The picnic was not only about adventure; it also had a cultural and entertainment segment. The DJ set created an energetic atmosphere, and the joyous dance performances added traditional flavor to the day, encouraging everyone to join on the rhythm. One of the highlights of the day was the Magic Show, which captivated the students with illusions and tricks, leaving everyone amazed. The Balancing Beam, Inclined Log, and Twisted Swing Bridge were among the top attractions that offered a mix of challenge and enjoyment. Students also loved participating in Dancing Ladder competitions, and the camaraderie among classmates added to the fun.

The picnic was a resounding success, offering students a blend of adventure, culture, and leisure. It was a day of laughter, learning, and memories that will be cherished for a long time.
