A Blessings Ceremony for the upcoming exams was held at DAV Public School, Sector 49, Gurugram, on 5th February 2025.  The event aimed to invoke divine blessings for students' success and well-being . The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Shri Prabodh Mahajan Ji, Vice President, DAVCMC, and Chairman of the school; Shri Yogesh Munjal Ji, Vice President, DAVCMC, and Vice Chairman, LMC;   Dr. D.V. Sethi Ji, Honorary Treasurer, DAVCMC, and member LMC; and Ms. Aparna Erry, Principal, DAV 14, Gurugram . Green welcome was accorded  to all the distinguished guests by Principal, Ms. Charu Maini as a gesture of respect and gratitude. 

The students of classes IV to XII  participated in the Hawan, filling the atmosphere with positivity and spiritual energy.  As part of the ceremony, students of classes X and XII received their admit cards, symbolizing their preparedness for the forthcoming examinations.

The event also celebrated the remarkable achievements of students in various academic and co-curricular competitions at international and national level. The stellar achievers were:

1. Shwetank Agrawal X-A,  who won a Gold Medal at the 21st International Junior Science Olympiad, showcasing excellence in scientific aptitude on a global platform.

2.  A team of eight students from Grades IX and X secured top honors at Northern India Science Drama Contest with Hidia Sohal, X-B, receiving the Best Director Award.

3. Pratyaksh, X-E represented the school at the National Science Seminar, demonstrating expertise in scientific research and presentation.

4. Khushmeet Narwal, XII F secured the Second Runner-Up position at the STEM 3.0 National Level Quiz held at Ahmedabad.

To honour students for their dedication and values, three special awards were presented to students from Grades V to XII. The proud recipients were :

● Icons of Integrity – Sajith Nagpal VE, Vidit Arora VI C, Gargi Chanana VII C, Saubhagya VIII C, Chahat IX D, Saamya Verma XE, Yashasvi Yadav XI D, Vishu Kilhor XII A

● Custodians of Conscientiousness – Vaishnavi Aggarwal V B, Yana Gupta VI A, Jayati Gupta VII E, Dhiren Sehrawat VIII A, Manan Yadav IX A, Shivansh Pandita X B, Pratham Kukreja XI B, Anshika Girdhar XII D

The event concluded with an inspiring message from Chairman Sir, who motivated the students to avoid distractions during exams and emphasized the importance of ethical values,  'shuddh aachaar, shuddh vichaar and shuddh vyavahaar,’ i.e healthy eating, healthy thoughts and a healthy conduct.  The Principal gave a heartfelt vote of thanks motivating the students to excel in their upcoming exams.  

The Blessings Ceremony was a spiritually uplifting and motivational event, preparing students mentally, emotionally, and academically for their exams while celebrating their commendable achievements.
