ORIENTATION PROGRAMME (III-V)

The Orientation Programme 2025 at DAV Public School, Uppal’s Southend, Gurugram, was conducted on April 26, 2025, for the parents of Classes III to V. The session commenced with a warm welcome by our esteemed Principal, Ms. Charu Maini, a distinguished educationist and a guiding force behind the school’s continued excellence. Ms. Maini addressed the gathering with great warmth and clarity, sharing the school’s vision, mission, and core values. She highlighted the significant achievements of the institution, its commitment to blending Vedic traditions with a global outlook, and the emphasis on holistic education. She also spoke about the state-of-the-art infrastructure, innovative pedagogical practices aligned with NEP 2020, and the school’s active participation in national and international outreach programmes.

Following this, the Supervisory Head, Ms. Priya Bhandari, continued the session. She provided an in-depth overview of the academic framework, the transition from mother-teacher to subject-specialist teaching, and the assessment policies. She emphasized the importance of a balanced academic and co-curricular environment, effective communication protocols, and student welfare initiatives that strengthen the school-home partnership.

The final segment was led by Ms. Shammi Walia, the school’s counselling psychologist, who offered valuable insights into the emotional, social, and cognitive development of children. She shared practical parenting tips to nurture resilience, emotional intelligence, and well-being among students.

The session concluded with a heartfelt expression of gratitude to all parents for their unwavering trust and support, reaffirming the school’s commitment to walking alongside them in shaping the bright futures of their children.
