Event Start Date : 28/04/2025 Event End Date 28/04/2025
Safety is a mindset, not just something you can hold in your hands.” Recognizing the importance of early education on personal safety, a session on ‘Good Touch, Bad Touch’ was organized for our students of Grade 1 and 2. During this formative stage, it is vital to equip children with the knowledge to protect themselves. In the session, students were introduced to key concepts such as ‘People in your Safe Circle’ and ‘Stranger Danger’. They were encouraged to say ‘NO’ loudly if they ever felt threatened or uncomfortable, warned against accepting sweets from strangers, and reassured that parents are the safest individuals when it comes to physical contact. A major highlight of the workshop was a lively song and riddle about safe touch, sung enthusiastically by both the children and teachers, which made the learning experience memorable and fun. The young participants showed great enthusiasm and attentiveness, making the session impactful and meaningful.
